There is a place in my heart for Special Needs Children, I fully believe that they are Gifts from God and each are beautiful in ways most people can not understand.
I have found, that most parents of special needs children, don’t have a lot of professional pictures of their children. Either because the quick “chain” studios aren’t equipped to handle the children, or because the parent is afraid the child will not act “right” during their session. With me, neither of those apply. Just because your child has special needs, does not mean that you aren’t entitled to the same photographs that capture those special moments in time, and the wonder that is childhood.
Prior to shooting, I will take time to get to know your child, be friendly, and then we will sit down and play and capture some wonderful memories. When capturing images of your Special Needs child, we will not be pressed for time, I will allow ample time to capture the images. You will find that I have great patience with these kids. We will take our time, make sure that the child is comfortable and at ease. The images from each session will vary depending on the child and what their needs are.
