Families:
Families can be done in studio or on location. If the family is a large size (more than 7) on location is recommended. When shooting family sessions, I will place each subject into a specific pose to ensure that the image is properly composed. Along with these posed images, on location sessions will include images of the family playing together, and having fun. I also will shoot images of just the children, just the parents, as well as other assorted images including an individual image of each child.
Engagement:
Engagement sessions are best done on location, what to expect: Lots of cuddling, and some kissing!
Bridals:
Typically, I like to start a bridal session in studio, get a few good shots like that, and then move on to locations. Sometimes, locations are the only way bridals are done. Bridals work best, if you bring a friend with you to help with “Fixing the dress” “carrying the dress” stuff like that. I’m pretty open to any ideas and locations you might have in mind for your session!
Maternity:
There are a variety of different types of Maternity Sessions. Most of them I do in studio. There is an option to do your pictures completely clothed, this is my least favorite option, i think it creates a less emotional picture. Option 2 would be to wear jeans, a cute shirt, lift the shirt in some, show some belly, maybe bring a tube top style bra so that we can “dress you up” in materials for the session. My favorite type, and the one people are least likely to do, are full nudity maternity sessions, this is not playboy like nudity, this is elegant nudity. We won’t show any body parts you don’t want shown in pictures, stretch marks and other imperfections will be removed. All maternity shoots are shot in complete privacy, only myself will be present, and we will work with a locked door. For comfort, Maternity sessions can also be done in the client’s home.
