I’ve been waiting a long time to photograph these two. We had a hard time scheduling their schedules with mine, but we finally did! and they were so much fun! They have such great personalities.. I really enjoyed their session, i hope you enjoy their images!

Josiah was Palestine’s first baby of 2012! What a grand appearance he made! His mom had an extremely quick labor, she wasn’t sure she was going to make it to the hospital on time. she did, with only about 30 minutes to spare… to hear her tell it, is amazing.. she said she was pushing and they were trying to start her IV all at the same time. She did not get an epidural or any pain meds! :/ But he is such a cutie, it makes it all well worth it. I will enjoy updating you all on how he grows throughout the year! I can’t wait. He’s such a little sweetie pie!

I recently got the opportunity to photograph Anna as part of a mentoring session. During the session we discussed camera settings, posing, how to use different aspects of your location to create different effects, where to position the subject for optimum light, and then afterwards we talked about some editing techniques. Anna was a really good model and a great sport!

A little while back, I needed a “dance” picture for a photo contest. I couldn’t find a dancer last minute, so i asked Abby who is a gymnast to come model for me. She was great, did some of her floor routine, I tried different lighting effects, and ultimately came up with one I liked. Then, I did a few just for her to “have”. :) I hope you enjoy her images as much as i do. She was so much fun to work with.
